On an original concept by Paul Richards was much more detail and a more realistic geometry. I think you would be worth round the corners. And it would be good to use a normal-MAP.
yep thats the concept and it dose have a normal map and also diffuse spec and emissive map... ill see if i can improve normal map more maybe i didnt bake it right
I'm not sure if it's something you wanted but most of your geometry is useless. You could have easily achieved the same result with as much detail with a good normal map. Your texture is blurry, it doesn't bother me too much because you went for a stylized look in your texture but I'd be interested in seeing your texture because maybe you have a problem with your optimization of UV space. It's a nice piece though and I love the style you used for the texture!
I didnt want to go low low poly i knew i can really wanted to get that 2k tris object and i really wanted to get that "borderlands" look i know its far from perfect ill play around with it little more
Yes, I definitely thought the style was inspired from Borderland. I understand that you wanted to model everything. I can really see your model being animated from its closed state to the open state you show. As for the texture, I think you could have optimized it more. Some parts are the exact same thing (the top and bottom of the outside of the case and the flat surfaces mostly) so you could just have space for one and stack your UVs on top of each others and you'll get the same result (but you'll have more space for your texture so your textures would look less blurry). If you're gonna fix it then I can't wait to see the result!
